Amazing caves, worth a visit, we went on the way back from Ayia Nappa, so did not spend Kong there, but next time we will allow more time

5 out of 5.
Took about 55 minutes on the bicycle from Hotel Pavlo Napa to the sea caves. The bikes were rented from the hotel and it was a bit wobbly and going up steep hills was slightly challenging. The cycle lane is good and can be taken all the way from Ayia Napa to the main road near the Sea Caves. Cycled past the sculpture park on route back.
There is another road below the sculpture park that can also be taken to get to the Sea Caves. That road joins with the main road as well further down.
Took water and salty chips. The last bit of the road is dusty and not tarsealed. I reckon that untarsealed part is about 300 meters off the tarsealed road to the cliffs/caves. Coming back, bike had to be pushed up that untarsealed road.
There were 2 caravans near the Cliffs/cave that were selling snacks and drinks.
The sea caves are amazing and a swim at the bottom was much needed. Beautiful Geography.
The brave ones cliff jumped down into the blue lagoon. I opted to climb down the climb and then jumped into the water.
These caves are definitly a must see when in the area.

Lovely area of coves with stunning clear blue water. Very rocky so take good shoes, but well worth a visit. Good area for birdwatching with lots of Wheatears early morning.

To reach the sea caves from Ayia Napa is easy by car, bike or by the local bus (101/102) to junction dusty road leading to the sea. When you reach the caves you will be astonished. The 10 meters high cliffs and rock formation crystal clear water make this place stunning. You can jump to the sea, or discover the caves, to climb down the rock to the sea is manageable for general fitness person. There are ropes to support you while walking and discovering the caves or just jump into the sea, swim or snorkel. If you want to spend more time here bring food and drinks with you, during my visit there was small food track to get some drinks and snacks.
Legend has it that the caves were used by pirates and smugglers of the Mediterranean to hide their treasures and store prohibited goods.

Saw these when we went on the Aphrodite 2 - Lazy day boat trip. They are facinating and there were a few people in canoes who were going into the caves.

Our family really enjoyed this attraction. We were in time to see the pirate ship and some other yachts visiting the caves.
One can jump off into the turquoise waters or climb down to the caves with minimal effort.
The entrance is free and ample parking is available very close to the attraction.

So wonderful place, the water is turquoise blue, the most beautiful in real life! The road is a bit dusty on foot, but it's worth it for the view!

It is exactly as beautiful place as all reviews are saying! We stayed there only for a short time to take a picture on the main place, but there were people climbing down to swim and see the caves and some local people jumping from the top into the water.
Ps! On the road, the last turn to Sea Caves, is Tree of lovers - a juniper that has survived alone in the middle of a field for 160 years in such a warm climate.

If you love scenic views, this is definitely worth the visit. As the other reviews say, it’s in the middle of no where but there was an ice cream van when we visited to buy a snack and some water. The water is so clear, and you can climb down into the cave to get that Instagram perfect picture.
It’s probably one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited.

Hi , when people jump into the water from the cliff, how do they get out , as there does not seem to be any pathway from the pictures.. i would love to swim there, but was wondering how is it possible!
Thank you

Hi. Jumpers have to climb out and scramble up the rocks to the top of the cliff to jump again. This is easy enough to do. There is no path or steps down into the water, either jump or climb down the rocks and slowly make your way around the cliff face to explore the caves. The water can be quite choppy.

The map shows the road near Konnos beach, not caves. How to drive possibly close to the place with caves ?

We accessed by boat to get best views as the caves are underneath the cliff. But you can walk to edges and look down although I assume abit scary. I recommend a boat trip to see best as it was the boat trip that made the visit amazing. Enjoy

Can you get into the sea from the shore and swim into the caves? I am planning to visit the sea caves in paphos next week but don't want to do a boat tour so am driving there. I don't really want to climb down anything too scary! Also, how deep is the water when swimming near the caves and can you go inside them and stand up?

These cave are in Ayia Napa not in Paphos. Anyway in both areas the caves are not so steep or "crazy". In some spots the water is deep but you can still walk around in some areas. Just be careful, not on bare foot

Я люблю путешествовать самостоятельно. Вооружаюсь картой местности, расписанием автобусов, беру консультацию на рецепшн в отеле и вперед к новым открытиям.
