This iconic beach at Albany doesn't seem to change. The view is always great, and it is a safe swimming area, but can be a little windy at times. There are great coffee shops nearby and you can get burgers and fish and chips at...More

Take a walk along Middleton beach any time of the day and enjoy the white sand and brilliant blue sea. It's best to swim in the closed off area to be safe from sharks.

Middleton beach is a lovely beach where the sea seems that little bit warmer than other beaches, mainly I think because it's a bay. You can walk all the way to Emu point if you are feeling energetic.

The beautiful color of the water and the Shark netting were a lure into the water. We very much enjoyed a coffee and dinner and Three Anchors which adjust the beach. Recommend the taster plate

We went during day time, nothing special. Might be nicer if we visit in the evening, probably can see lights along the coastline.

We walked the five miles from the cruise port to the beach and five miles back via the paved walks and paths provided. It was do-able for a senior couple because of the easy slopes and lots of shade. And the views along the path...More

The day we went to Middleton Beach, the weather was not cooperating. It didn’t matter. We liked it like that as well. There were not many people. We could see where people could swim in the ocean. It was protected from any elements, except when...More

The Ellen Cove Broadwalk follows the coastline from Middleton Beach all the way into the Albany Port in town. Access by foot or by bicycle is reasonably good. It's roughly 6km.
