And advice. Pretty much what you want in an information centre. The lady who was there the day we went knew everything there was to know about the area including road closures and all the places to eat

We stopped at the Information Centre to grab maps and some advice on what to see while in Lorne. We found the Centre had a large range of relevant material and the staff were very friendly and helpful with advice.

I think maybe your maps are showing miles not kilometers. Your map showed 7.5 to Erskine falls which we were told were kilometers, but my GPS on completion showed 12 kilometers. Worth checking, as +60's 7.5k's is not too bad , but 12 k's did...More

The positioning of the centre in on the main road and easy to access. Lots of info and brochures and maps. A good variety of souveniers to choose from and very very helpful staff

The exhibition is excellent and informative. The people on duty were very helpful and there are good souvenirs for sale.

Hi Matt, the Lorne visitor centre is open daily 9-5 so that won't be a problem. Beach walks, the Otways and Erskine Falls are all good for 2-3 hours of hiking, coffee shops aplenty so you should have a great stay. Hope this... More
