After sitting in the car for 6 hours, and starving hungry we pulled up at Purple Hen Wines. We had lovely cheese and dip platters for lunch sitting on the lounges by the fireplace with a glass of sparkling and a glass of red.

Great little winery in Phillip Island.
We went on a sunday before a public holiday, so pretty busy, but still managed to get a table. Dont think they take bookings, but a relaxed vibe. Nice views and the food is decent.

Stopped in late one afternoon to sample some wine. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable hostess assisted us through their wine list. Lovely wines from a small winery. Picturesque place for afternoon tea if you choose. We left with a few bottles and a smile.
