While staying in Warwick. we checked out the surrounding area and had a sausage sizzle lunch at Leslie Dam. Good views and plenty of shade to accomodate sightseers.

On a lovely sunny morning with local friends we visited this dam. It has a couple of interesting and unusual rock carvings and you can walk along the top of the spillway. Also there is an old pub very near for a cool drink. A...More

We drove out to Leslie Dam on a recent visit to Warwick. We drove down to the waters edge and along the side of the dam. The water was very low but the area is beautiful and wild. The actual dam picnic area is great...More

Dam water smelt gassy. It was not somewhere to enjoy a fresh air picnic. We did not find a clean or mown area beside or in view of the water. However, the scenic view was nice enough for photos. Limited facilities.

Large dam good for fishing and water sports but unfortunately getting rather low currently. One of the locals said it was well under 30% full - needs a lot of rain to fill it

Venue offers different areas for family to spread out. Grass can be full of burs so careful in summer if visiting. Water views are lovely as are the stone carvings. Toilets are clean and usable. Area can be a challenge to wheelies.

Nice enough place. It was very quiet during the week - we were there on a Wednesday. Would be good if you were into picnics. Nice views.
