Smaller than most botanical gardens I've visited but a lovely atmosphere and beautiful well tended garden's. Great spot to read a book, walk the dog or have a picnic.

I always enjoy a visit to the gardens there is always something that has changed or been added ....it's such a beautifully serene place and you always leave there a better person so get yourself there and enjoy the beauty of nature it really is...More

St Kilda Botanical Gardens is an ideal spot for a picnic, day out with a touch of history. Great walking paths and plenty of spots to have a picnic. Take the camera. Free entry.

Great place for a picnic in the summer! The park was well kept. The toilets could of been a bit more welcoming though! Great that there is a little project area too where you can take your compost or buy plants. Defiantly worth a visit...More

Lovely place for a walk. Although close to the beach and the bustle of St Kilda, it is quiet, relaxing with lots of shady places to sit. Loved the Rainman fountain! Usual lack of recycling bins though. Melbourne and Victoria in general is really bad...More
