If you are passing by it is well worth a stop to have a look at this unique engineering feat. Better still, take the Port of Sale cruise where Allen will explain in detail how it all works and it’s history.

If you're lucky enough to see the bridge in action it really is interesting. We caught it opening recently and crossed over it on our bikes. Lovely, quiet location, perfect for a family picnic or bike ride along the tracks.

The history and making the bridge is quite amazing , when opening up to let big boats inis well worth a look,relaxing area room to pull up your van and take a walk .take the time to read about its history.
