Beautiful walk in the summer, not much else to do. A lot of people fish from this area. At the end of the Pier there is a playground for children

We were lucky to have beautiful weather when we visit. Relax walk along the pier with the family and poppy kettle playground is right next to the pier.

Whilst the pier looks inviting, the long walk to the buildings at the end reveals a set of private function rooms that completely block off views of Corio bay.. Nice for a summer evening’s stroll but be prepared to get to the guarded doors and...More

This old pier was apparently used to load wool and as you walk along the old railway tracks are still visible. An entertainment venue is at the end of the pier but the walk out is worthwhile on this piece of Geelong history.

Not a lot to see along the coast but it is more appealing than walking through the Geelong CBD. Also saw a reasonable sunset from the end of the pier,

The opportunity to walk on the pier where they used to load the clipper ships with wool. The rail tracks are still in place. Excellent views of the bay.

We took a walk along the pier early morning to check it out. Nothing was open but it was pleasant to stroll along.

There are some restaurants at the end - but I didn’t go to them so won’t talk about them. It’s a nice walk - on the water nice view. But it’s mostly a car park. If you’re walking on the non sheltered side watch out...More
