Spent quite a while here taking it all in. An historic site in Australia's history. The memorial is great and they have developed a lovely park around it. The kids playground is themed and is really good. We didn't go into the museum, rather preferring...More

Our family visited the Eureka Memorial after spending a full day at Sovereign Hill. We were too late to visit MADE and see the original flag but were moved by this appropriate tribute to this important part of Australian history. Well worth the effort to...More

Well worth a visit if only to see the Eureka Flag . Lots of history to check out and they appear to have a rotating art exhibition space. There is a cafe and interesting grounds to explore.

Interesting for Australians who know the history, but proberly not much interest to tourists from other countries, as there is not much to see.

Always good to revisit these important places and refresh the history memory. The Centre is well set out and displays easy to follow. There is a great gift shop and very good cafe.

It isn’t just the memorial - which may or may not be on the site of the stockade (it was made of upturned wagons and only there for a few hours) - the main attraction is the MADE visitor centre. Here, pride of place is...More

We use this park for a picnic day out. Suitable for children 5 - 12 for the playground. No enclosing fence and there is a lake very close. Kids do love the ducks and pick up pizza nearby on Eureka Street or from the MADE...More

A very good memorial to an important part of Australian history. I did not go into the museum there as I had no time but this memorial gives a brief rundown of the events. From here it’s just a short drive to Bakery Hill where...More

Anyone going to Ballarat needs to visit this place, steeped in history, the original flag on display, what we have today in Australia is the result of what happened here on December 3rd 1854
