Imagine feeding kangaroos right out of your hand. Or cuddling a koala. Or... this is the very best animal park that I have ever visited. So warm, so friendly.

It's probably a good option for families as it will entertain most kids. I went by myself and found it to be not quite worth the $24 admission fee. It isn't terrible, but if you're by yourself or are a couple you can see the...More

This privately-owned place is competing with government owned and operated zoos like Melbourne Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary so we do have to bear that in mind. This cannot be easy. I travelled by V/Line train from Southern Cross station to Ballarat. A return V/Line ticket...More

An absolute waste of money. This place is run down and half the enclosures are empty. Do not believe the reviews and save your money for Melb Zoo instead

While it was great to get up and close to many kangaroos to feed them. The amount of kangaroo dung clearly isn't managed on a day to day basis. The place is very understaffed and the Eagle enclosure was very sad, nothing short of a...More

We visited the wildlife park as part of a trip to the Ballarat goldmine. A great place to meet the resident wildlife of Australia while being accompanied at every turn by tame and inquisitive kangaroo's.

This is a great place to go to interact with Australian wildlife, so much better than a zoo too. Make sure to ring ahead and check out the times of the animal shows, these are really great to watch. It's a little bit pricey 22AuDollars...More

We visited the park on a recent trip to Australia and were very impressed. There were not many people there, so when one of the young animal keepers did the tour, it seemed all the more personal. She was a lovely girl and explained things...More

Our Park is a more intimate Park where you can pat Kangaroos and get up close and personal to all of our non venomous animals. We certainly hope you come and visit. Best regards Julie-Anne Marketing Manager
