This museum was the most disorganized display of the history of gold mining. It really didn't give a historical outlook. It was very random. There was no continuity in the displays.

This is an interesting museum, however a lot of it was repetitive of MADE museum. Awakening the Dragon was an exhibition that was more interesting. The shop was very expensive

OMG the huge gold nuggets on show were amazing! And the stories behind the gold just as good. Great to be able to see and read about the gold rush history in the Ballarat areas. Highly recommended.
