I loved this place as a child and now my kids loved it too! Worth the small cover charge, very well preserved pieces and very knowledgable staff.

The museum is surprisingly big inside for such a small front. Packed full of antiques and local history. Well worth a visit on a rainy day.

Definitely worth visiting the museum. Lots of historical information about the people and the area, extensive collection of artefacts and photos, from convict times through to the 60s. Includes a list of convicts’ names. Time passed very quickly! Highly recommended.
