Delightful park to take a break or just meander around, close to the city centre but far enough away to have some peace and quiet.

Good way to take in a number of historical sites around newcastle, with relaxing scenery and a host of cafes and restaurants to chose from.

A great place for children to run around or ride scooters. The dog even liked to be able to go for a long walk and some running. Have been here a few times with the family.

The 3 older boys loved the train equipment and enjoyed playing train driver (ages 3, 5 and 8) Not so great for my 1 year old who wanted to join in, however the equipment is mostly only safe for older kids.
