Newcastle has some of the best beaches in Australia from Stockton to Catherine Hill Bay - but if you are visiting for the first time - get yourself a park at Nobby's. Explore the beach and the lighthouse and break wall next to the harbour....More

Visited Nobbys 030118. Great beach, convenient location. However please note: there is only one outdoor shower station for the whole beach and NO male or female change rooms. Apparently Nobbys Beach was voted state winner of the Friendly Beach Award in 2008. Must be trying...More

One of the best beaches in Newcastle, you won’t be disappointed, there is also a small cafe where you can grab a coffee or even some yummy hot chips.

Beautiful beach, but unfortunately the weather was bad. I’m sure on a nice day this would be a great beach to relax on.

After strolling along the breakwall the sea and sand beckoned to us and didn’t disappoint. Beach was quiet whilst we visited so we enjoyed a nice walk undisturbed back to the main area from the breakwall!

I haven't had experience with holiday parks but agree regarding Stockton holiday park as there will probably be extra ferries available to & from Stockton on the for this event.
