Unfortunately we visited at a time when there had been little rain and most of the lagoons were dry - or close to it. Consequently there was not a great deal of wildlife to be seen (the only reason for the average rating). Interesting little...More

This was our second visit, our first was earlier in the year and the car park closes at 7.30pm, so we decided to visit in Autumn and be there for sunset when the birdlife and wildlife might be more visible. How right we were to...More

This is an excellent and unique place just on the outskirts of Albury, ideal for walk from the nearby Noreuil Park or the Botanic Garden. Many places to relax and also learn a lot about the unique wildlife and ecology of the wetlands.

We picked a dull damp morning to visit the wetlands. The office was shut and the information available was minimal. We did one of the longer walks which was OK in itself but there was not a soul around. Even all the wildlife seemed to...More

A lovely area just 5 minutes from Albury. Easy to find with plenty of parking and picnic facilities. There is an indigenous display and campsite, we found ourselves very interested in learning more about the Traditional Owners and how this area has been used over...More
