This out of the way winery is well worth the drive up the narrow cliff road to an expansive and pleasant farm. The cellar door is a nice way to spend time chatting and sampling the winery's fine wine.

We love visiting wineries and are very “low key” and down to earth with our wine tasting. Unfortunately, the young man from England behind the counter chose to correct our every pronunciation and dismiss the wines we had tried in the Marlborough region as “rubbish”...More

The tasting experience cost 10 dollars, for 6 wines, which can be offset by purchasing wine. Else the sum will be donated to hospice. The road is unsurface, single lane and lean against a small cliff (could be horrifying for some). The wines were more...More

Definitely stop at this winery if you’re in the area. They have complimentary tastings if you end up buying a bottle, and if not, they just ask you to donate money to their local hospice. So sweet. Great wine too!

An interesting drive in, I suspect it would put a few off but it really isn't as bad as it seems. Well worth the effort though for a great cellar door with very good wine at 'worth it' prices. Made to feel welcome from the...More

After a very intense, clenched knuckles gripping steering wheel drive to the cellar door of Chard Farm, what a wonderful experience was awaiting us. Pauline was our host and one we will never forget. Pauline not only blew us away with her knowledge but also...More

This winery is located opposite the original aJ Hackett bunge jump and has an interesting track in to the winery. The staff are all foreign and cater to the international visitors with well rehearsed and well intentioned wine explanations. We came on a snowy day...More

Still a fantastic winery topped off by a marvellous drive up. Their Pinot Noir some of the best on the planet. Well worth the effort so go there.

My partner and I went past this winery on the way home, I received nothing but insulting comments. I am 26 years old and I am from South Australia, and coming from a world renowned wine region, I do love and know my wine. The...More

Chard Farm does not have a charge for wine tasting . If you are not purchasing any wine on the day we do appreciate a donation towards our recycling program. We look forward to your visit.
