Although states a Rotorua attraction should be aware it’s a 30 minute drive, staff friendly and enjoyable experience, different pools with different temperatures makes you dip in and out, we did get a private pool (in picture) quite novel but also quite small. I would...More

Love Waikite with it's choices of pools from intimate to family. I especially like the pools where you can sit and look down the valley at natural bush and farmland.

A lovely place to soak away driver fatigue. The hot pools are very soothing even on a warm day. The walk and descriptions of how it is all done are good. Adbise ro book ahead if camping as it gets full.

The Waikite Valley Thermal pools were really nice and in a cozy setting. There were several pool options to bath in and the service was really good.

A long way out of town (approx 25 mins?), so I felt a bit guilty for burning the fossil fuels. Would be lovely if you choose to stay in the camping ground. Well away from the tourist hustle of Rotorua City.

Hi Julie The facility is open every day except Christmas from 10 am. I don't recall the exact price, but think it was something like $25-30 per adult for general admission. It's about 30 minutes from Rotorua
