You don’t get to see this in many parts of the world. And it’s close ties to New Zealand’s Māori people makes it unique. Come at 10:15 am to watch the geyser erupt. Wander amongst the thermal attractions (caters, thermal pools, steam vents). Our family...More

This is a "must-go"! Stay there for two hours and you will be able to see how nature can be amazing! Different colors on the rocks, due the minerals and chemical characteristics of the water.

I imagine this place to be awesome whatever time of year. Visited during a cold winters days with frost around great views and pics. Got there early so Park was fairly quiet. Great walk around and plenty to learn.

Was a great place to walk around and see all the sites. Though it was infrequently raining, it was the best time as the number of visitors was down

Scenary is breathtaking (Champaign pool is unbelievable!!). The lakes have different colours (blue, yellow, green...). The tracks are numerous and well set.

They add a special soap mix at 10:15am every day to ‘induce’ the geyser so this won’t change anymore than tv programs or train timetables etc.
