We lived in Napier for 23 years and saw the city growing and improving through that time. We visited yesterday and were delighted to see how vibrant Marine Parade is now, so much to do. Well done Napier City Council, it’s looking amazing!

Came to Napier to visit family and I was a child when I last visited the Marine Parade so brought my kids here to look around & play... The weather was perfect & the place looked amazing. A perfect place to have a picnic here.

Our accommodation at The Dome is on Marine Parade so we have already walked various parts of it today-it's a beautiful, well maintained place to get some exercise and the old houses along it are so interesting!

After a lovely dinner at Ristorante alla Toscana, Fiona and I went for a walk along Marine Parade and were amazed at the new (to us) colour choreographed fountain. Congratulations to all concerned with this and the rest of Marine Parade- such a classy development...More

Yes you can. It’s about 10 minutes to walk to town centre or you can walk the other direction and walk to Ahuriri beach front, for cafes, and bars.
