Disappointed that the tree has gone (and the thrill along with it) I'm a U2 fan - bring back the Tree.

Super cool place, full of sheeps around and a beautiful sightseeing over the city! It´s reachable by public transportation as well.

Once you reach the top of the One Tree Hill (no longer has that 'one' tree); you can see all of Auckland. A great place to visit; for free. A must see. You need approx. 1 - 2 hours to climb to the top and...More

Great view of the city, in a beautiful city park populated with sheep roaming around, great big trees, and general serenity. Note that it's about a ten minute walk, up a fairly steep grade at points, to walk up to the top of the hill....More

I like this hill. We walked slowly to the top. So many people walking and running up the hill. You can see all green surrounding the hill. The air is so clean and easy to breath there. You may try to go there when you...More

We went on 21 Dec 2018. There is a carpark near to One tree hill. After which the walk up is about 10 to 15mins. Managed to catch a rainbow as well. Nearby there is the Oak shopping mall with supermarket

Has some of the best views in Auckland! 360 degrees in all directions! Even better now that traffic is not aloud up the road, so it's tranquil and peaceful, not usually too many people either, especially for a sunset view! I keep coming back here!

This park is One of Auckland's many volcanic park and features a 182 metre tall volcanic cone. The volcano is said to have erupted almost 30,000 years ago so I guess there is no concern that it will become active. It was the home of...More

I went for a stroll there while on a long layover in Auckland. There is a little hike to reach the top, but the 360° view is rewarding.
