A wonderful place to walk and see the beautiful Botanic Gardens. The display of native spring flowers is breathtaking. You can also visit ‘Aspects’ where unique gifts can be bought. The views over the Swan River are second to none.

The man made water way in which kids can take off their shoes and wade through is awesome. Just pack a towel to dry off their feet so you can put their shoes back on.

Every time I visit somewhere in Australia I am impressed as to what is on offer to youngsters. The Naturescape is no exception. Designed for kids to have a mini adventure from climbing on things, through things, and over things. Plenty to wear them out.

On my last visit to Kings Park we happened across this playground. Mainly consisting of natural habitat and simple structures it was playing to see kids allowed to pay in a natural setting. Full marks to Rio Tinto fir supporting this project
