A beautiful cathedral in the gothic style. We stopped in during a rainstorm to stay dry for a bit and by luck, a sung mass was just starting. The organ and choir were wonderful and the acoustics are superb.

It's simply gorgeous. If you are a church lover, don't miss this one. Beautifully crafted, it is one of Melbourne's landmarks.

We go to lots of cathedrals when we travel. And by far this is the very best maintained old cathedral we have ever been in . Definitely worth visiting. Doesn't take long to see.

On the edge of the CBD, it is worth calling in for the peace and serenity within. The memorial stones within the walls make interesting reading, showing the distances people travelled to settle in Australia.
