The seafood is VERY affordable, fresher than fresh and you can't beat the view. This was great at night, morning and day!! I can't tell you how nice of a waterfront it was! I couldn't stop walking through this area!! Great fun and atmosphere!
Its a lovely harbor with plenty of piers that have things going on in them from fish and chips to wine bars to the MONA departure lounge. If you go to Hobart and do not walk the length of the Dock you have missed out
Constitution Dock and Sullivan Cove is dripping in Australian History as it was first settled in the early 1800's. Constitution Dock is the harbour dock area of Hobart which is also next door to Salamanca Place and Battery Point the main tourist area of Hobart....More
Immersed in history, well worth a visit. Lots to see and the scallop pies sold at the floating street food/ fish and chip eateries are a must. If you like fresh seafood, there’s eateries here for all budgets.
