About
Every Sunday, come rain hail or shine, a busy street in the heart of Hobart transforms into a bustling farmers' market. It's all about Tasmanian produce and getting to know your farmer, and it always has been.

It was refreshing to hear about this market before I came to Hobart. But wanting to experience it for myself, I went on the weekend to find it bustling with much activity. It was a fun place to buy and eat breakfast on the go,...More

Very much a market for the locals but even for us tourists a pleasant little attraction. A relatively small number of stalls (particularly compared to the monster Salamanca Market the day before) but much good fresh produce to be considered. Worth a few minutes of...More

We went there on a rainy Sunday but still enjoyed it. It is quite small but its all about food. The prices were better than going to the providers themselves e.g. The cheese's we bought there were cheaper than at the actual dairy, Don't expect...More

Definitely worth a visit if you are in Hobart on a Sunday. The stall holders have to be the producers and also have to be on the stand. Never see fresher produce. The cheese makers were happy to discuss their product and lots of free...More

went there early morning before the crowd, the market is small but in my personal opinion its much better than the Salamanca market. The vendors is super friendly and pretty much everything is made/grown by the the stall holder.

Not great to go just after you eat a big breakfast elsewhere. Otherwise it's just a bunch of food you can't eat but really want to.

This market is perfect for those who want fresh produce directly from the farmers. Love being able to talk to the people who actually grow the food

If you are a local or tourist, definitely try and get to this market! Displaying the best produce of Tasmania, the market provides the perfect place to find quality foods and gifts- without the tacky tourist stalls of Salamanca Market

This market is open on Sunday mornings between 8:30 am to 1 pm. It has great produce and food. I discovered Japanese pork donburi and sourdough donuts with lemon curd filling and they were absolutely delicious.
