A fabulous trip with Tourrader for 3 and half day. Good company as well as a busdriver who knew lots about the country side, the walks we did and waiting for people who were slower than the young ones. Slept in backpackers hostels, which were...More
Wineglass Bay and the hike up the pink granite mountains offer a highly enjoyable way to spend the day. It's absolutely beautiful and the scenery is spectacular! There are many different hikes you can take of varying difficulty and levels. But the bottom line is...More
This was an absolute fantastic day, our guide ‘Rick’ was amazing, his knowledge of geology and fauna was very informative, we absolutely loved it. The history, although harsh, was sensational, the visits to the lesser sights such as Richmond and the chocolate factory just tipped...More
I did the Maria Island day tour in early February, 2019 and highly recommend it. After an on time hotel pick up, we stopped at a couple of interesting spots (as well as a food pickup spot) before reaching the ferry to the island. Once...More
Connor provided a lively dialogue about the history surrounding our tour, the convicts, Tasmanian Devils and spots along the drive. The cliff walk was spectacular. The small size of the group made the tour very enjoyable.
I did the tour yesterday. Jack was our driver/guide and did a very nice job.
Wineglass Bay is beautiful and the hike is not difficult.
That said, we spent about 5.5 hours in the van, all told. That's a little too much for my comfort....More
This tour was insane!! Anthony from roam wild tours took us to a desolate electricity town and then we got to go into a locked mine head office aka 1970 style that was like stepping h back In time. To finish off he showed us...More
Had an absolutely awesome day with Zach - Scottish-born but Tasmanian at heart - my highly skilled tour guide! The sky stayed blue, the sun stayed out and the wildlife came out to play! :) So thrilled to see an echidna, baby Tiger snake slither...More

I really don't know which other company I could recommend to you as I just joined the BIG3DAY tour. The big3day tour already spent the whole 3 days of us as they brought us to every point that were introduced on the web site itinerary. You would feel tired, day trip (from 8:00 am -6pm), after long bus journey.
If you think the 3 days trip is not enough, you could join 3 days trip + 1 day (Bridestowe Lavender Estate and Tahune Forest Air Walk). Then, you could spend your last day in Hoabrt city to walk around and relax.
The Big3day tour could bring you from Lauceston to Hobart(Bus travelling time 4 more hours). I think you start your trip at Lauceston is better as Lauceston is a place not many places for you yo visit.
One more thing to tell, the best season to go cradle mountain and wine glass bay is fromFeb to March. Last time we went up to the hill and can't see the view clearly because the weather was foggy. The Salamanca Market and "Taste of Tasmania" in Hobart city is worth to go but it is only held in Christmas to New Year.
