It is a 500m easy walk to the rock from the parking lot. The colors of stones in the green around and the blue of the sea was beautiful. We spend 20 minutes on the rocks.

Good signage detailing how they came about. Easy access and very safe. You don't need to be a mountain climber! Very interesting (remarkable) rock formations that you can get up close to and clamber around on. Great views up and down the coast.

If you are wanting pick up in Milford Sound, then you certainly won’t be seeing the Remarkable Rocks - as they are on Kangaroo Island, South Australia not South Island of New Zealand.
