Thoroughly enjoyed the museum. Lot of history under one roof and all the vehicles, tanks are so clean, and there is write ups on everything on the floor. Good gift shop also. Staff very friendly.

A 3 hour visit to this museum just long enough to see most of the items exhibited in this outstanding venue. Lots of machinery from WW1 and even more from WW2. Some were totally mindboggling. Tanks, artilliary, jeeps, trucks were all there to see. Well...More

So much to see. There are some very rare vehicles in this very well presented and modern venue. It is a must for military history buffs.

It is about 15 minutes north of Cairns. Other attractions in the immediate area are Skyrail, Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park and water board park. Cheers
