We frequently take the grandkids here for a picnic and play in the water feature area. It is very popular so a good idea to settle in early.

We had a lovely picknic at this riverside park there is a nice play and padeling area for the kids and adults. With decorative planted areas along with plenty of open space fod other activitys along with some historical enginering features.

I have seen signs in areas to say this is reserved for an event. Contact Brisbane city council. I also just googled reserve rocks riverside and it took me straight to the website to book an area.

I believe that it opens at 7.00am although I have never been there that early as we usually have lunch in the park.
