If you want to spend a day away from people, this is the place to go. There is a big bbq area where you always find a spot. The view of the lake is pretty and the place is so peaceful!

Wivenhoe dam is a great place for a Sunday drive and a BBQ at one of the many BBQ facilities. A great and safe place to swim with no powered water craft allowed.

Nice place to visit for a day where you can have a BBQ and or swim, paddle or sail your boat (no fuel moters allowed) or you can camp for a while at a nominal fee.

Majestic Wivenhoe dam supplies most of Brisbane with water. Located in a beautiful spot, the dam is also great for a weekend away. Just take the Brisbane highway, through beautiful landscapes.
