We have seen a number of very good shows here. Parking is quite easy in the basement.

The ticket price should have been a give away. I don't want to be one of those overly negative reviewers but suffice to say that it was a significantly different experience to what I was expecting. This being my third time seeing wonderful Avenue Q...More

Hi Ben, Thank you for taking time to write this review. It is disappointing that Avenue Q did not live up to your expectations after seeing professional productions in New York and Melbourne. As a non-profit community theatre, we strive to provide Brisbane audiences with...More

Brisbane Arts Theatre is a humble cultural icon of Brisbane in my opinion. Yes it's a bit tired, but well, its the quality of the performance that really counts. It harks back to a quieter less flashy Brisbane and I simply love it. A bit...More

This theatre is an old beauty and apparently in for a refurbishment. I hope they dont lose the wonderful old world feel of the place. Every seat has a good view. Small cafe for a thirst quencher, plenty of local parking and cheap tickets. Saw...More

Lovely old theatre, great ambience and small enough for every seat to have a good view. Awesome production with wonderful audience (kids) interaction from the actors. Just loved the "baddies" and "puppies". The actors all congregate in the courtyard after the show so the audience...More

The theatre is old and the air condition works very bad. But the seats are good. It lacks some maintenance. Prices are very reasonable and have a bar just good to have something in the intermission or briefly before because it is not very comfortable
