Great day, many shows for the family to enjoy the Raptors, sheep dog show, and get up close to feed the kangaroos. Price of entry is a little expensive and it’s costs you to hold and have a photo taken with a Koala, but it’s...More

This place is great fun for young and old - children, parents and grandparents. The Koalas, Kangaroos and other animals are kept clean and the look comfortable. Definitely recommend the Sanctuary as a good day outing. Good parking - good value and good fun!

Its about 20 minutes away from Brisbane city centre and about $50 by taxi. We got the taxi driver to come back 2 hours later for us. The main attraction here is being photographed holding a koala. This costs about $20/person. As it goes towards...More

Thank you for your 5 star review. It sounds like you were able to spend some quality time in our 5-hectare free-range kangaroo reserve; an ideal place to get up close and personal with our roos, wallabies and emus in a safe, family-friendly environment.

I believe you may only purchase a ticket for koala holding upon arrival at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, not in advance.
