Many food places and good walking paths to take the family and have picnics etc. Always seems to be on street parking but may pay to get in early to get good picnic tables if you have larger groups.

Shorncliffe beach is not much of a beach in itself. There is no surfing and few waves. However it is great for children, with a wide open bay, a first rate childrens' playground and excellent parking.

This is a beautiful area to get closer to the sea for Northsiders. It's just a pity the beach is not great. Nice for a walk across the pathed board walk, play in the park if you have kids, walk up the pier and have...More

This place is a little out of the way if you are new to Brisbane however, if you get the opportunity then I highly suggest it. Yes, it is just another beach on the coast. No, it doesn't have any surf, but what it lacks...More
