Won't be going back
Oct 2019 • Family
We visited the park or of curiosity as it is so large. The play area we found was extremely small and there were no toilets to be found. Tables and seating were sparse and uncomfortable.
With a young boy who likes to climb and run around, there wasn't a whole lot for him to do. If we went back, we'd probably need to bring our own equipment for play.
Great park for dogs and cricket... not for young children

Fantastic, huge, free public green space

Great place, with open grassy areas. New , off street car parking area is currently being developed on Ellison Rd & Murphy Rds. Not much picnic tables & seating. It is a place of Warehouse cricket which can be watched for free from the sidelines. Good for twitchers as well. Great family picnic spot, just bring everything.

Very dry

Marchant park is more for sporting grounds with all the cricket grounds in there.
They do have a dog park and a BBQ area near the entrance.
I think there are much nicer parks in the area if you want to go to one. The park across the road has better children activities going on.

Wide open space.

This park is enormous. There are plenty of cricket fields, fitness gear for all ages, paths/bike ways, wildlife etc. etc and ROOM. It was a good place to walk around as well as set up for a picnic lunch. A few more water bubblers would be of use but would certainly visit again.

I love walking through this park on the way to Chermside Westfield. There is plenty of birds and often a game of cricket to be watched

The Home Of Warehouse Cricket
May 2016 • Family
Known locally as the "Home of Warehouse Cricket", Marchant Park is a favourite for it's "off-leash Dog Park" at the Gympie Road entrance, its wide open spaces, its exercise and fitness equipment opposite Kidspace, bicycle and walking tracks and quite spots where you can just relax and enjoy a picnic under large shady trees. BBQs, Public Toilets are on-site. It is close to Kidspace and the 7th Brigade Park. The Park is also " the home" of cricket on the north side of Brisbane with 10 fields catering to hundreds of cricket matches during the season. Plenty of room for the whole family to relax and do your own thing. There is restricted parking in the Park but parking is plentiful along the road verges around the boundaries of the Park.
