Exactly as expected, beautiful sunset and lots of nationalities of food available. There were fewer vegetarian options than I'd have expected. The massages at Kob massage stand were really worth the money. Only drawback was the number of people, though this could be because it...More

Mindil beach is a must for spectacular sunsets. You can top it off by going on a Thursday or Sunday which coincides with the markets. Suggest grabbing your takeaway yiros or waffles then settling in on the banks of the beach to watch the sun...More

We didn't spend much time here during the day, but it is undoubtedly a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset. Particularly if you combine it with the Mindil Beach Market.

I have to say I was a little disappointed with Mindil market. Watching the sunset over the water was lovely and there was a good selection of food to eat, but most of the market offerings were the same as you would see at most...More

Thursday and Sunday. A huge variety of food stalls. We booked spots in the VIP area so we had a table and chairs. BYO but an esky with ice was provided. Enjoyed the setting sun from our vantage point.

Awesome place to browse an amazing array of market stalls and more food options that you could imagine. Grab a snack and watch the sun go down over the ocean. A must do in Darwin without a doubt.

This beach is famous for sunset and Thursday evening Market. You can't miss the excitement of Market, different varieties of food, shows and stalls to buy items. Must go.

Mindil is famous but the food is mostly awful. Eat somewhere else.

Hi there we went on the Sunday. Just beautiful. Food was great, stalls were good and it was packed. Great start to a new week. I haven't been on a Thursday so I cannot compare. Enjoy
