I last came here as a child in 1987. It has definitely improved especially the hologram presentation and the plane replica inside. The $17 entry fee and what you spend in the shop goes towards the RFDS operations - it is only 80 % government...More

A small but first class museum. It told the story of the founding and growth of the Flying Doctor service. Quite inspirational. We liked the fact that the money from the museum goes towards funding the service

We enjoyed visiting the RFDS facility. Gave me a much better understanding of the RFDS. There is a full scale cabin and cockpit of the Pilatus aircraft currently in use by the RFDS.

A wonderfully clean and evocative tourist facility. We walked from the hotel and so enjoyed having the museum to ourselves. The hologram film was stunning. Very pleasant cafe in the same complex. The ONLY quibble was the astonishing cost of T shirts. To pay 85Aud...More

We enjoyed the tour, movie and Museum, and gift shop here at the royal flying doctor service. This is an amazing service to provide excellent medical care to those in need who live in the outback in remote areas.
