Unfortunately we didn’t stay as long as we’d like. But the sand and surf were fantastic. October is a little off-season, we’re told, which accounted for the sparse crowd—perfect for relaxed sightseeing.

Arrived later than anticipated to wake from Bondi to Coogee, but still took a stroll on the beach. Very nice beach, lovely sand and surf - surfer favorite.

Bondi beach is probably the most famous beach in the world and if you are in Sydney it is a must do just to say you have been there

Absolutely beautiful beach so close to main st for shopping across the road for Sunday markets. This beach has lifeguards in spring and summer.

If you want to spend a day in a beach and see beautiful people, you may want to visit Bondi beach. The sunset is lovely as the coast turns golden.

The beach rarely sees a time in spring/summer where the beach is overcrowded. Would recommend Bronte beach to anyone wishing to see a beach in the Sydney region

I don't know when the calmest conditions are but my girls swam in mid June (which is their winter) and they didn't think it was cold.
