For the Hens night we did a ABBA Cruise and the group was outstanding. The harbour is beautiful by day but exciting by night, well worth a dinner cruise at least. Darling harbour has a lot to offer with the Aquarium, our Madam Toussards where...More

I left a review a few years ago that was probably a little too critical. I focused on the touristy things which is true. However, there are also a ton of restaurants and it is on the water which is never a bad thing. It...More

I had read that Darling Harbour was designed to be a tourist spot and it certainly is. Despite this, it is worth a visit. The nightlife here is crazy and the bars and restaurants are bustling. We did try happy hour here as well as...More

The harbor is a fun and living place to visit. The fireworks on Saturday nights in December were fun and beautiful to see.

A lovely area to visit with lots of restaurants and cafes (Halal options available). The conference center and Chinese friendship garden are all in the vicinity. There’s a playground for children. This area gives you access to Paddy’s market and China Town.

Lovely harbour with lots of restaurants and bars, excellent firework display on Saturdays 9pm running up to Christmas. Beware that some bars on a night time need proof of I'd and it not due to age it's standard requirement what ever your age is. Local...More

Fantastic views with somewhat overpriced and pretentious service. This is where you go to be seen. Worth a visit. Don’t bring the kids.

Very busy with overpriced tourist trap eateries, not much else there unless you want to visit aquarium. Many better places to visit and specially eat.

I spent an evening at Darling Harbour. There were lots of bars, cafes and fine dining restaurants. The area is well lit after dark. It has a very good feel to it.

I agree with first response, you can walk (30-40) min but take the ferry for the best views of the bridge. The bridge is adjacent to central Quay, darling harbour is further inland and bridge is not visible from there.
