Overview
More
A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

A sublime, beautiful walk in any season. What a way to walk along one of Australia's most beautiful coastlines. It gets busy, but unless you are trying to run it for exercise (which you will need to do very early at dawn or very late...More

Lovely to do something so different in Sydney , walking along the coastal cliff path from Coogee to Bondi. A great way to explore all the bays along the way too. If you have time, would recommend!

This beach was great, lots of surfers just waiting for that wave to come in. Great photo ops. And good shopping and restaurants to eat in. The bus runs right there too. I went from circular quay to there and no pro less.

This walk is fantastic. It shows you more in the area than just Bondi, and you get some beautiful views. However, you do need to be quite fit, and don’t underestimate how long it will take you. We thought we might walk all the way...More

I took the bus from near Circular Quay to Coogee, to start my walk - so I did the Coogee to Bondi coastal walk. Its a pleasant walk, with some uneven terrain so definitely comfortable shoes required (plus a sunhat). The Randwich Cemetery is on...More

It took us just under 2 hours to walk at a relaxed pace from Bondi Icebergs Club to Coogee Pavilion. We were lucky that the weather was perfect. Maybe a touch windy in some parts. Will definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone

If you can get yourself organised for a swim, this is the place to go. Swim in the far lane and every 3rd or 4th lap a wave will crash over the wall, making for an unique experience. Restaurants are good. Views are exceptional. this...More

I grew up in a place where the surfers would hang out for good waves, and I was expecting to that in Sydney in the winter. Maybe I was expecting too much. However, the beach was not very clean, and the stretch of sand was...More

Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the
smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi
Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs
that does not have big waves, making it an excellent
family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right
across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens
in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night
of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity

The walk has numerous signs that guide you along the trail. As long as you see the ocean you should be fine! Also there are heaps of crowds and people walking/running along the walk so you won’t get lost. Enjoy your trip!

Most of the walk can be done with a pram but between Clovelly and Coogee there are steep steps which will make things very difficult.
