Overview
More
A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

This is a very beautiful walk, with such amazing scenery, and recommend doing it! Takes about an hour from Bondi to Coogee Beach. Once at Coogee Beach, enjoy some yummy food/drinks at the Coogee Pavilion!

The plates are small but they are made that way so you could try many different dishes and share with your friends.

Fantastic!!! Do this tour on your own though as there is no reason to pay for it. Purchase your Opal card ( public transportation card that covers trains buses and ferries that you can ride all over Sydney and to the Taranga Zoo). The ride...More

I wanted to do this walk for ages. Looking at previous comments this track seemed a good bet. It was simply an exceptional coastal walk. This is perfect for families as well. Select a beautiful day with light wind and you’ll be rewarded. Highly recommended.

We did Coogee to Bondi way round and had a day with very mixed weather. Ended up a beautiful day though. What a great walk and had a very interesting diversion through the cemetery due to storm damage repairs being made. Not a huge amount...More

Nice coastal walk with beautiful views You’ll follow the trail for 6-7 miles along the paved path. You’ll pass along 5 beaches and an old large cemetery. There are a few inclines and stairs. I would say to be moderately fit although you can get...More

Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the
smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi
Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs
that does not have big waves, making it an excellent
family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right
across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens
in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night
of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity

There are many walking paths in Sydney, all completely free! If you have a few days in Sydney and like walking, go to Manly Beach and the Blue Mountains as well.
