5 min drive from city centre. Over the decades this area in Dickson (Inner North) has been improving a lot with the range of Asian restaurants steadily growing. I remember working at an Architect’s office in 1970s when Rasa Sayang Malaysian Restaurant (now a $$...More

I don't think I've ever actually been to a Chinese restaurant here, but I've been to Thai, Lao, Korean, Turkish, Indian and Japanese. All were pretty good and it's probably the cheapest eat street in Canberra. It won't compare to Chinatowns in probably any other...More

We had a great Vietnamese dinner over Easter and found the area great for wandering around. We had drinks at a pub beforehand. There are tour buses dropping off busloads of tourists so it gets busy. Pay parking weekdays and Saturday til 12.30.

This area is only a block long and three blocks wide, but has a huge amount of asian restaurants, most of which are very popular with the locals for being great food at reasonable prices - go where the crowds are and you can't go...More

There is nothing china town in here. Practically one stretch of street with mixture of chinese eat restaurants which were overpriced. Silly idea to think anyone would even go there when it is far from the city centre. Bad public transport network in Canberra (thanks...More
