As many reviewers have already stated, not much of a Chinatown, certainly not by international standards or even when compared to those in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne (my personal Australian favourite) but... if you're looking for a wide choice of cheap dining options this one...More

I don't think I've ever actually been to a Chinese restaurant here, but I've been to Thai, Lao, Korean, Turkish, Indian and Japanese. All were pretty good and it's probably the cheapest eat street in Canberra. It won't compare to Chinatowns in probably any other...More

Canberra's version of Chinatown is small by usual standards compared to other major cities but it punches above its weight. Compact with a great choice of Asian restaurants covering the majority of cuisines. It even includes an Asian grocery store. Found a great place for...More

We had a great Vietnamese dinner over Easter and found the area great for wandering around. We had drinks at a pub beforehand. There are tour buses dropping off busloads of tourists so it gets busy. Pay parking weekdays and Saturday til 12.30.

A variety of Asian Restaurants inhabit Woolley Street and most of them a pretty decent value for money. From cheaper meals at the Tak Kee Roast Inn to higher end Chinese food at Ruby's, I've always found the quality to be good. Parking can be...More

This area is only a block long and three blocks wide, but has a huge amount of asian restaurants, most of which are very popular with the locals for being great food at reasonable prices - go where the crowds are and you can't go...More

There is nothing china town in here. Practically one stretch of street with mixture of chinese eat restaurants which were overpriced. Silly idea to think anyone would even go there when it is far from the city centre. Bad public transport network in Canberra (thanks...More

This looks like a standard suburban street. There are quite a few Asian restaurants, but also Indian if you want a curry. If you are a fan of Asian food, give it a try, but not a lot else to see.
