We have been every year but one to Floriade since is stared. It is now more about the food, shops and sideline marketing than the flowers. Sad to see the flowers disappear to make room for more food stalls and cofee shops. They could shift...More

Being my first time at Floriade, the displays were second to none. The amenities and parking were also tops. Well done Canberra - you sure know how to put on a show.

Recommend a couple of visits as the number of flowers blooming changes each week. Great day out. Take your hats and sunscreen and take your time to take it all in and browse all the shops. Popcorn and donuts were scrumptious!!!

I don’t think this year was as good as 2012 when we last visited but it is very good. Weather is an important factor - go early and the tulips might not be quite out, go last weekend and they can be knocked around by...More

Floriade is great if you're passing but I often wonder what people think when they travel from out of town, purely for Floriade. You'll see a lot of tulips, some garden art, some food and product stalls that you'd find at a weekend market, and...More

I've visited flower farms to pick my own blooms, spent money on flowers over food and asked to be the florist at a friend's wedding. My devotion to all things floral reaches a peak during Floriade. Every year I've enjoyed exploring the displays, admiring the...More

The Floriade flower beds are only displayed for one months, namely, from around 15 September to 14 October. If you are late, you have missed the wonderful display. Hope you can make it by then.
