Came up fot the Rome show - brilliant. But the regular (FREE!) galleries on Oz are just as excellent. Intriguing design (recommend the Building the Museum book) and setting. Helpful staff and good shop. The Antartica show well worth the $20 fee. Go there before...More

The Hosts around the museum are so knowledgeable - they share such interesting stories about the displays and artefacts, it makes the visit worthwhile.

Great interesting exhibition. An amazing historical event well presented.. The exhibits were well spaced out for ease of access and the audio headsets were extremely helpful. I suggest one attends early at opening times.

I always recommend first time visitors to Australia to see this museum. It is one of the best introductions to Aussie history, landscapes, and society. Well at least a couple of hours.,The cafe has stunning views.

Saw the ancient Rome exhibition which was excellent. Spent another hour and a half exploring the other exhibits. Fun place.
