A great exhibition well presented. The exhibits and journals on display were fascinating. The handwriting, drawings were meticulous. His journeys well presented by the various methods, held me in awe of this great man and navigator.

Well worth a viewing, lots of information to be taken in and a very enjoyable place to visit. A lot of visitors on the day I went, but there was plenty of room to move and read the information.

The 250th anniversary of Captain Cook's voyages to the Pacific and Australia are celebrated in this free exhibition. Very informative and well laid out and unusual content make this an exhibition not to miss.

Mostly this is as its title suggests a research library. But there are charming exhibitions to be found on the ground floor, plus an excellent bookshop. And a first rate cafe too.

Had a look at the 'Captain Cook and the Pacific' exhibition when recently in Canberra. It was excellent - free, beautifully curated and very interesting. Most intriguing to me was that Cook on his three extensive expeditions to and through the Pacific appeared to be...More
