Great place to see Canberra and get your bearings. Easy drive from civic, or if adventurous I think you can walk!

I have visited this lookout many times over the past 30 years but recently was my first time at nightime (14 Jan, 9pm). There is NO lighting up there - visitors were using their mobile phones as torches. The viewing area requires navigating a set...More

In my younger days I would run to the summit of Mount Ainslie but these days I drive. The views are spectacular and they change with the seasons, as well as with the time of day.

Good family bonding secession especially if you have active kids. A popular stop for local Canberra folks. The start is from behind war memorial, around 45 minutes to an hour of sweating, a spectacular view awaits . Enjoy !

We enjoyed seeing the Capital from a different perspective. Good information provided on the town planning and history of Canberra. Worth a stop.

Fantastic view over Canberra and surrounds. There are some information boards with history of the area etc to read. Was a bit grotty with rubbish etc but worth the drive up.
