I liked that Old Parliament House Gardens. It had a fountain and on the floor we could learn about representatives.
I liked the rose gardens the most. They were sublime. They smelled good and they were attractive!

This is free entry and they offer free guided tours, which we did. The guide had so much knowledge and it was very educational. Beautiful old government building, well taken care of. The garden was pretty, but will be even better when the roses bloom....More

Everyone seems to flock to Canberra for Florida, or to see the National Monuments (including the Old Parliament House), however very few spend the time exploring the surrounding gardens. Please take the time to look around, strolling through the amazing rose gardens. Well worth it...More
My visit to the gardens before heading in to Old Parliament House and it was a lovely area. I seriously can't wait to see it all in bloom and will definitely be worth a visit back to Canberra just for the bloom!
