Overview
More
Norwell Nurseries and Gardens have been established nearly twenty years and the garden now contains over 2,500 different plants, many rare and unusual. The gardens are free to look round whenever the nursery is open (apart from a few charity open days when there is a small charge). We specialise in herbaceous perennials, grasses, woodland plants, cottage garden plants and have the largest selection of hardy Chrysanthemums for sale in Europe. We are not a garden centre and so only sell plants, these have been propagated from the gardens. The gardens are open to guided tours (fee required) and we have coach parties coming from all over the country. We are included in the prestigious Gardens to visit 2013 guide and the online Gardens-guideIf you are interested in plants, gardens or just an inspirational, peaceful, relaxing setting for a summers afternoon come to us. There are tea shops and an excellent pub for food just round the corner.

Went here last summer for a return trip and was (very!) pleasantly surprised to find a new cabin-type building providing self-service drinks and home-made cakes - this was the icing on the cake (literally!) for this lovely nursery. As a nice touch they leave you...More

Contacted Norwell Nurseries to purchase some hardy Chrysanthemums. Owner couldn’t be more helpful. Took time to show us complete collection and then found our requirements whilst we walked round the wonderful gardens. Please go here rather than some sterile multi chain garden centre

A gem of a garden and a huge choice of plants. The proprietor is a mine of helpful information and advice. Very highly recommended for a special visit, or a welcome stop on the way home (easy access from the A1).

Many thanks for your kind comments, it was great spending time with you helping you choose plants which should do well in your garden and I look forward to seeing you both again. It hasn't been any drier since you left!

This nursery is a bit off the beaten track, but well worth the visit. It is a proper nursery, with no chintzy ornaments or anything, they sell plants that they've grown and cared for themselves. All the staff on site were really friendly and helpful,...More
