Nice hiking place
Mar 2018 • Friends
We were hiking in March (but with lots of snow) and it is quite an easy hike, although some parts may be difficult for older people and small kids (quite rocky). The views are nice and you can definately spend some great time in 'schronisko' (bar on the way to the top).
I do recommend the hike when you're in Międzygórze. It's great for all who like spending time surrounded by nature.

Windy, but great views
Jun 2016 • Family
We got to the Śnieżnik in very nice weather, but still it was very windy - this is highest point in the area, so it's not sheltered by other mountains or forests, so the winds do what they want. A fourth part of the summit belong to Czechia, while remaining three fourths are in Poland's boundaries. There's a lot of signs of some 19th century activities, such as ruins of viewing tower and other metal remains - all of that were parts of a plan to draw tourists attention, in the beginning of tourism in the area, and to visit this mountain, and all of that were made by German rulers - Sudetes were part of German empire till the end of WWII. Marked trails allow to climb the summit from Polish side (Schronisko na Śnieżniku being a great base for such trips) as well as from Czechia side. Northern slopes of Śnieznik are protected in nature reserve "Śnieżnik Kłodzki", and pretty much everything you can see on Polish side is covered by Śnieżnicki Landscape Park. And on the Czechia side there's large "Kralicky Sneznik" national nature reserve.

Beautiful hike
May 2016 • Friends
There is a nice hiking trip with a red trail, good shoes might be helpful as part of the trail has some rocks. If you plan to hike during weekend or public holidays - there might me a bit crowd. You can stay at the mountain shelter, 30 mind from the top of the mountain. The trip is worth to do, as the view is amazing.

Lovely walk for nature lovers, it's a restaurant on the way to the top of the mountain, good prices, tasty food.

nice view, good exercise

I enjoyed the long walk around the mountains and the view on top was spectacular. Bringing your own food and water is a good idea as the cafe is quite far. Helpful colour-coded signage.
