    View from the top
It’s breathtaking from the top. We were there about 9:30am before the crowds - the only other crowds were monkeys! My husband and I began walking down. I consider myself fit, but had to turn back. The steep and narrow paths started to scare me plus it was very hot. My husband went further and got to the path leading to the beach, but decided the risk wasn’t worth it as it looked too dangerous. When we came back up there were people everywhere and the path was getting so dangerously busy. Go early.

    Breathtaking Spot
Visit Nusa Penida island and travel to this beautiful breathtaking spot. You will get some astonishing views and will be able to click great pictures. Expect some crowd while visiting here. You will find some basic restaurants and shops near this location. Overall a must to visit the place.

BE CAREFUL OF THE TIDE AT THE BEACH
Me and my husband went to this view point in Nusa Penida today June 8th, 2023. A few minutes earlier, a couple died when they were dragged by the waves at the beach. I’m writing this to PLEASE ask anyone who visits this spot and decides to hike down to the beach to PLEASE not swim in the ocean. Especially if the locals tell you that the tide is high and it’s dangerous. There’s been A LOT of deaths and injuries in Nusa Penida which a lot of people don’t talk about. Please be careful. This is a beautiful place but you have to respect it and be extremely cautious.

    Very beautiful landscapes!
I cant' explain how much I loved this place. I went to Nusa Penida island in January, just loved the landscape. Perfect destination for honeymoon couples. I visited 5 beaches there this one was the best. Broken beach is also a good option to visit.

Great views, a little too crowded
This is probably, if not the most hyped place in Nusa Penida in particular and Bali in general. Having seen this particular sight multiple times in pics and videos across various platforms we were worried if it will impact our experience. Thankfully it didn't and there is nothing like viewing it yourself up close. We didn't go down to the beach but did enjoy the views from above and it is breathtaking to say the least. We reached around 10:30-11 am when it was too crowded. A must visit nonetheless!

    Time your trip
A really nice view which makes for some great photos, especially on a nice day. Recommend coming here after 5pm once all the day trippers have gone. Lots of monkeys around too but they don’t seem to cause a problem. NB Parking scooter is 5,000 rupiah.

Climbing down is a memorable experience!
A stunning beach and a memorable experience climbing down to it. Yes, it’s tough, wear trainers, don’t carry anything unless it’s on your back and bring water. Harder than I imagined and my legs ached for days, but what an achievement when you reach the bottom! The steps end about a third of the way down, then it’s just rock climbing , so if you find the steps tough then turn back!

A mandatory stop if u are in Nusa Penida
We, a family with one 7 year kid spent not more than 40 mins here. The view of the beach is breathtaking. There was a small contention for the photo spots. After that, we took some photos. But, the spots have very weak fences. One has to be very mindful of the same.

    The view is immaculate
Memorable view. I didn’t walk down the stairs as I already had at diamond beach that day. Not a swimmable beach as sea current is far too strong and will have you swept away in seconds unable to reach back to the beach.

    Beautiful, Breathtaking, Challenging!
The beach and the view is every bit beautiful as the pictures say. The way to get there is pretty challenging makes the beach the ultimate reward when you get there. Know your physical fitness, wear good shoes, climb slowly and carefully. take a liter of water in your backpack. The water was perfect, it was a little rough. Great photo opportunities. The hike down is 25 mins and the hike up is another 40 mins. The hike up is definitely really difficult and will test your physical fitness.

Water is crystal clear turquoise. Need full stamina to go back up though. Its so steep - almost 90° degree hiking on the way down then return back up after 2 hours

Island not ready for tourist, nothing good except the beaches. Paying for queuing up for everything… route to enter 1 to another beach, photo taking, food…

On the southwest coast of the island of Nusa Penida, in the settlement of Bunga Mekar, lies a secret beach called Kelingking Beach. From the summit of the hill with the same name, you can take in one of the most breathtaking vistas across the hills and narrow stretch of white sand. The view is of the deep blue waves of the open Indian Ocean set against a green-covered promontory of limestone. The moniker "T-Rex Bay" comes from this unusual formation, which resembles the head of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The isolated beach is reachable after a strenuous 400-meter cliffside trek.

after a 30 min boat ride from mainland Bali we rented motorbike and Checked into our bungalow. We rode another 45 minutes to get this magical beach where people come from all over the world to take pictures here and you’ll see why.

To get down to the beach itself, you have to take bit of a treacherous hike down a steep mountain. However there’s handrails to help guide you so you don’t die.

Even for my fitness level, there are parts that are really challenging

After the hike down you are rewarded with heaven on earth.

The beach itself is also Another great photo opportunity, and there’s not many people. However there are huge waves so if you’re not that fit I wouldn’t recommend going into the ocean.

As the sun started to set we began our hike back up the cliff side, but a the same time still snapping shots of the sunset.

When you arrive at the top, you’re rewarded with another picturesque paradise and another great photo opportunity to catch the sunset.

Stunning Photos but Poor Experience. Tourist guides makes it worst experience with no welcome gesture. Local administration failed to provide basic infrastructure to support tourism activities. Highly dangerous to step down and almost 99% tourists didn't go down to the beach. Money hungry guides may be seen to capture photograph as their monkey style with zero manners.

Yes the view is stunning, that’s if you can get close enough to it to look at.
This is Insta posing heaven for many and you’ll be met by a queue of people fighting for that perfect shot.
There is a steep path down to the beach however most tour groups don’t allow you the time to walk down and explore, ours was pose and leave sadly. There was no we’re else to walk to sadly, would have loved some time to explore.
If you can go alone without a tour either early morning or evening in the hope of having some time to quietly view and enjoy this site.
