run by the forrestry commission this park is great for kids and dog walkers. There are several routes to take and you could walk for hours. closed off areas to let pups off the leash is really handy.

Visited this Country Park for the first time, the car park was well maintained and cost £3 to park all day with and hourly charge of £1.20 for a maximum of two hours. There is a small café which I did not visit. The pathways...More

Great in the summer. A little cold (high winds) in the winter. My four year old loves it there. An entertaining walk for a few hours.

We visited with young children who particularly enjoyed the play area and the fairy grotto area. We didn't have time to see much more so will definitely go again. A hidden gem.

It was the Highway Rat trail during the summer holidays. Have not been here since August so don't know if it's still there. Have you tried the website?

Yes no problem but as others have remarked, lots of dogs off the lead running around and also some parts quite hilly.
