Great in the summer. A little cold (high winds) in the winter. My four year old loves it there. An entertaining walk for a few hours.

We visited with young children who particularly enjoyed the play area and the fairy grotto area. We didn't have time to see much more so will definitely go again. A hidden gem.

We had not been here for a number of years because on our last visit there had been dog mess everywhere and the place resembled a large dog toilet. We complained at the time to the Forestry Commission as it was not a safe environment...More

Thank you for your review Chris. Glad to hear that you feel things have improved since your last visit! We have worked hard over the last few years to achieve this improvement but recognize that we do unfortunately still get the occasional irresponsible owner. Our...More

We visited Jeskyns yesterday for the Highway Rat trail. The walks are lovely, paths are buggy friendly. Park was brilliant, big sand pit and no swings (bonus as my 3 year old could sit and be pushed on one all day!!!). A lovely fairy and...More

We enjoyed a slow stroll around the natural parkland, but there were children, dog walkers, joggers and even a horse rider. Car parking £2 for 2 hours, there's a little café. A wonderful treat so near to town.

Although quite local to this attraction, we were unaware of it. It was a dull day but lots of people and children, and especially dogs walking. Hard surfaces keeping your feet dry, but then loads of grassed open areas for doggies to run. A café...More

Lots of variety here. A natural themed play area, a tree house lookout with old sculptures from previous year's Gruffalo trail, picnic benches and lots of open space. My 3 year old loves riding her scooter here and my 5 year old enjoys stretching her...More

What a great place!! Dogs aplenty really enjoying themselves with paddocks so dogs, such as our greyhound, can run around safely. Lots of different length walks as well as a great play park with Gruffalo characters for the children. Highly recommended.

Yes no problem but as others have remarked, lots of dogs off the lead running around and also some parts quite hilly.
