Finding the way out of the village was fun, and the view when we reached the centre of the Cirque was worth the struggle. We were helped by a local enthusiast. Several options are available according to fitness, shoe type and time.

What an unspoilt area with such wonderful scenery and good walks. The lac de salagou is a must and we were entertained by two flying boats. The red earth is most unusual whilst the rock formations in the cirque are amazing.
