Discover the wonders behind one of the world’s most tantalizing foods — chocolate The Chocolate Tour begins by taking you across the trails of Talamanca’s Cacao History. Beginning with Talamanca’s native cultures The Bribri’s and Cabecar’s. In their tradicional conic rancho known as The U SULE; The traditional conic shaped rancho of the Bribri and Cabecars Indigenous culture is where we have made the Indigenous Museum. Here you will succumb to the history and hidden mysteries of these unique tribes. The second part of this trail will bring you to the beginning of the 19th century when the Afrocaribbean decendents arrived in the area. Their cultural history and development with the cacao plantations. Imprinted in their food, music and everyday life.

We'd a fantastic 1 hour tour - our guide was very friendly, professional and knew everything about cacao. The tasting was also great, we'd even got a small package from the leftovers 😀
